Akagera
Akagera National Park lies in north-eastern Rwanda and covers 2,500 km2. It is unique among wildlife refuges in Rwanda. It does have a few mountains, but they are small and not very prominent. It is composed mainly of swamp and plains and is more like the kinds of habitats found in Kenya and Tanzania
