Kigali
Kigali is centrally located in Rwanda. It spans several hills and valleys. There are good roads linking the city to the rest. With just over 1 million residents, the capital city of Rwanda is tranquil and low-key.Many people who visit the vibrant, colourful centre for the first time often comment on how clean it is. This is a source of pride in every part of the country. Kigali is relatively young. It was established in 1907 as an administrative outpost. In 1962, it became the capital of the country. It is safe to walk along the city's tree-lined boulevards or immaculate squares.
Nyungwe
Nyungwe, one of the oldest African rainforests, is rich in biodiversity. It is also spectacularly beautiful. The mountains are home to a number of wildlife species, including chimpanzees and 12 other primate species, including L'Hoest's monkey, which is endemic in the Albertine Rift.
Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park is located in the northwest region of Rwanda. It protects the steep slopes this majestic mountain range. This park is home to the endangered mountain gorilla. Named after the Virunga Massif's chain of dormant volcanoes, Volcanoes national Park was named after Karisimbi, the highest at 4,507m. Bisoke, with its verdant lake and Sabinyo, Gahinga, and Muhabura.
