Dune Buggy Ride and Sandboarding in Huacachina

The dunes of the Huacachina Desert make it a popular attraction for thrill-seekers. Although fast-paced, this tour is for people of all ages — you don’t need any special skills for sliding down the dines. You’ll also get to spend the first half of the tour exploring the dunes in a buggy, which is a beautiful way to see this otherworldly scenery.

Your tour begins by climbing into a dune buggy with 4-wheel drive, manned by a professional driver. You’ll be glad you have a driver once you start to make your way through the enormous dunes on this exciting ride. Once you have your sandboard, you can choose to coast down the sandy slope just as you would on a snowboard, or you can opt for the easier method and use the sandboard just like a sled.
