Huaca Pucllana is one of the most interesting historical destinations in Lima, and it’s just a 10-minute drive from the Courtyard Marriott hotel. These sprawling ruins are more than one thousand years old. You can visit the museum and the on-site restaurant. Walk 15 minutes from the Courtyard Marriott to the Larcomar shopping center. Here you can sample a wide variety of popular Lima restaurants. From your hotel you can also walk to Central Park and Kennedy Park, two of Lima’s lovely green spots. Kennedy Park is known for its large population of cats.
Lima has increasingly become an important culinary destination. In Miraflores, and just a short walk from the Courtyard Marriott, you can visit some of Lima’s trendiest restaurants. If you need a quick snack or a sundry item, visit the hotel’s convenience store. Keep your refreshments stored in your room’s mini-refrigerator. You can also help yourself to the coffee and tea service in your room. There is also room service available.
Shared spaces in the Courtyard Marriott have large, striking pieces of art. You can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel’s International Bistro. As the name implies, the restaurant here supplies international as well as Peruvian menu items. There is a breakfast buffet included in your stay, with a good variety of hot breakfast options.
You can access the room’s high-speed Wi-Fi from anywhere in the hotel, including the lounge. Kick up your feet in front of the 40-inch cable TV, and listen to music using the CD stereo or the iPod dock. At the hotel you can visit a small gym with cardio equipment as well as free weights.
Rooms here have a streamlined design, with sharp angles and gleaming white surfaces. All of the rooms have air conditioning. If you’d like to work or catch up with e-mail in your room, sit at the room’s comfortable writing desk. Each room has a private bathroom with hair dryer. Guests can also make calls using their room phone.
You can choose a slightly larger standing room with a sitting area, as well as deluxe rooms and spacious suites. Keep yourself looking smart with your room’s iron and ironing board.
Business travelers should keep the Courtyard Marriott’s meeting and event space in mind. The meeting space has Wi-Fi, and the business center supplies guests with computers and printers. They also provide a copy and fax service.
We loved that we were allowed to store our luggage here while we spent a few days in Huaraz.
