You’ll also stop by Lima Cathedral and Plaza San Martin, a park that commemorates General Martin and his instrumental role in Peruvian independence from Spain.

Peru is home to many different types of indigenous musical and dance traditions. Across Peru, dancer’s outfits testify to the great textile talent of the native culture. Dyed with natural ingredients, their brightly-colored costumes have an energy all their own.
