Description
Departure is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. from your hotel in Tarapoto. As you leave the city behind, the road winds through lush jungle scenery and picturesque villages.
Your first highlight is a visit to Castillo de Lamas, a unique medieval-style castle offering panoramic views and a glimpse into local traditions.
The journey continues with several scenic stops along the route, allowing time to stretch, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings. A box lunch will be provided and can be enjoyed at your leisure during the trip.
As you enter the Amazonas region, the landscape becomes more mountainous and dramatic, with breathtaking views of the Utcubamba Valley.
Arrival in Cocachimba is expected around 6:00 p.m., where you will check in at Gocta Lodge, a beautiful property surrounded by nature and views of Gocta Waterfall in the distance.
