Belize's allure extends far beyond its famed beaches, islands, and ancient Maya temples. Nestled within its lush landscapes are some of Central America's tallest waterfalls, offering awe-inspiring natural wonders awaiting discovery by intrepid travelers.

In southern Belize, five cascades stand out as must-see destinations, you can select one of the following options:

Maya King: Just a brief drive from Placencia, this waterfall captivates with its ethereal beauty, featuring a perfect blend of height and power. Its serene pool and natural "shower" have served as stunning backdrops for numerous notable photographs.

Ben’s Bluff and Tiger Fern: Situated amidst the expansive Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, these waterfalls are treasured by hikers. Ben’s Bluff rewards adventurers with panoramic views and a gentle cascade at the trail's end, while Tiger Fern offers a scenic jungle retreat.

Bocawina Falls: Easily accessible within the Mayflower Bocawina National Park, this waterfall attracts visitors with its accessibility and adventure opportunities. Zip-lining and rappelling adventures add to the excitement of experiencing this 100-foot cascade.

Antelope Falls: Nestled deeper into the Mayflower Bocawina National Park, this waterfall demands some effort to reach but rewards with spectacular jungle vistas from its lofty heights. Thrill-seekers can also enjoy zip line rides that soar over the falls.

Billy Barquedier: Tucked away in its own secluded national park, this remote waterfall reveals its splendor during the dry season. Accessible via a short hike, its mystique is enhanced by the park's untouched wilderness. (This option includes lunch)

Davis Waterfall: Is the second largest waterfall in Belize with a height of around 500 ft (120 meters). Davis Falls is located near Alta Vista Village in southern Belize and is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in the country. Davis Falls is located deep in the rainforest of southern Belize making it a great place to experience the natural beauty of Belize. (This option includes lunch)

An adventurous mindset, Insect repellent, Sunscreen, Sun glasses, Comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes. If your adventure includes any water experience, please bring a swimsuit, towel and change of clothes.
