From this lodge, it takes just 5 minutes to drive to the Maya ruin of Cahal Pech, which spans 2 acres (0.8 ha) and features 7 temples, the tallest reaching 77 feet (24 m). A short drive north brings you to downtown San Ignacio, where you'll find a variety of restaurants. Travel 30 minutes southwest to visit Xunantunich, one of the most impressive ruins in Belize, where guided tours unveil stunning hieroglyphs and captivating local legends. This accommodation is also conveniently located near the Guatemalan border, making it a great base for exploring famous neighboring ruins like Tikal, as well as remote sites like Yaxhá.
