The walls of the pyramid are covered with images of warriors, plants, and animals. El Brujo is best known, however, for a well-preserved female mummy that was discovered here. The mummy, which is known as the Lady of Cao, was likely a member of the Moche royalty. Travelers can visit an onsite museum and see the mummy and other artifacts on display.
