People come to Paracas for the ocean – this part of the coast is known for its rich diversity of sea life, including dolphins, sea lions, whales, and sharks. On the beaches, you can see an incredible variety of seafaring birds, including the Humboldt penguin. At the Paracas Reserve, you should also make a stop at the Julio C. Tello Museum, which has an impressive collection of Pre-Columbian textiles. This hotel is only a 20-minute drive south of Pisco, which is a town best known for its vineyards and the pisco brandy that takes its name from the town.
