San Agustin Paracas is set right along the bay in Paracas, Peru. The hotel has spacious, modern rooms and a wonderful location.
Located along the southern coast of Peru, Paracas acts as a jumping off point for trips throughout the surrounding area. Travelers can visit Islas Ballestas (Ballestas Islands) and see all sorts of animals, including sea lions, seals, and thousands of birds. At the Paracas National Reserve, you can explore impressive natural features like the Cathedral (a seaside rock arch) and Red Beach. Other activities in this area include sandboarding and surfing.
San Agustin Paracas is one of the larger and nicer hotels in Paracas. It’s easy to get most everywhere from here, and many of the hotel rooms have views of the Pacific Ocean.
The accommodations at San Agustin Paracas are spacious, comfortable, and clean. All are equipped with a LCD cable TV and a digital phone. Rinse off the sun and sand in your private hot water bathroom, and store your valuables in an in-room safety deposit box. Ceiling fans keep the rooms cool, but you can also open your windows to let in the ocean breeze. One of the best features of these rooms is the view—the rooms on the second floor have terraces that overlook the ocean. The suites are equipped with a Jacuzzi tub, and handicap accessible rooms are also available.
There is a large outdoor pool where guests can swim and relax. This is a pleasant place to pass time in the afternoon where you’re not out exploring the Paracas area. Guests can also play pick up games of volleyball at the beach volleyball court.
The hotel’s restaurant, El Chandelier, serves food from sunup till sundown, including a tasty breakfast buffet each morning. Not feeling like eating at the restaurant? Order room service and have breakfast (or lunch/dinner) in bed. El Chaco, the onsite bar, is well stocked with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Pull up a seat and unwind in the evening.
Use the hotel’s business center to get online and print documents; Wi-Fi is also available in common areas. Meetings, parties, and conferences can be held in the event hall, which can hold up to 400 people. And if you’ve gone a while without washing your clothes, take advantage of the hotel’s laundry service—they’ll have your duds ready in no time.

Feedback from Travelers
Lovely views over the sea, and facing the fishing fleet of Paracas. We walked to and from the port only about 500mtrs. Good food with a good breakfast. They put themselves out even though we had an early start when we left the staff at 3:30 put a breakfast box together.
Wonderful ocean side room with view of the pool too. My own balcony. Fantastic restaurant.
