On a visit to Paracas National Reserve, you can take a buggy through the sand dunes, and see the red sand beach. Take a boating tour to the Ballestas Islands, where you’ll see large populations of sea lions. Archaeologists have uncovered evidence of ancient people in the reserve — you can see their carvings along the rocky coast.
