What Destinations Offer Domestic Flights in Uganda?
Domestic flights connect Entebbe and Kampala (Kajjansi airstrip) to all major safari destinations. Flying significantly reduces travel time and allows more time for wildlife viewing.
Aerolink Uganda and Bar Aviation operate scheduled flights to key destinations including Bwindi (Kihihi airstrip), Murchison Falls (Pakuba and Bugungu), Queen Elizabeth National Park (Kasese and Mweya), and Kidepo Valley. Flight times range from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Flights operate in small aircraft (typically 12-seat Cessna Caravans) and offer spectacular aerial views of Uganda's landscapes. Luggage is restricted to soft-sided bags, typically 15-20 kg per person including carry-on. Hard-sided suitcases are not permitted.
