Victoria House sits on a white-sand beach that is only one mile (1.6 km) from the Belize Barrier Reef. The Belize Barrier Reef is the second-largest barrier reef in the world and one of the most sought-out diving and snorkeling spots. It’s also a spectacular place for fishing – you can arrange to go reef fishing or deep-sea fishing for a chance to catch marlin, sailfish, jack, grouper, wahoo, and tarpon, to name just a few. To see more marine life, visit the Hol Chan Marine Reserve on the southern end of Ambergris Caye. Hol Chan is a break in the reef where sea turtles, manatees, and a variety of fish congregate. When you want to see more of the local culture, rent a bicycle or a golf cart in San Pedro and visit out some of the popular downtown restaurants and bars.
During your stay you can have convenient meals at the resort’s Palmilla Restaurant. Palmilla Restaurant has its own chef who prepares a fresh selection of seafood, Belizean food, and daily specials. You can also arrange for a private dinner at the resort’s gazebo. Victoria House also has an on-site bar called Admiral Nelson’s, which is a good place to watch sports or play a board game.
Guests can pick from a variety of accommodations at Victoria House. Altogether the resort offers 42 rooms. You have the choice of a casita (a small private guest house), a suite, a simple guest room, or a villa. Three of the villas are all complete vacation houses, with kitchens and dining rooms.
Accommodations here come with white linens and breezy decorations, designed to refresh your senses after a day in the colorful Caribbean.
Casitas have thatched roofs and elegant, mahogany furniture. These cottages face the beach, and are surrounded by sand and palm trees. Each of the casitas comes with private bathrooms and air conditioning. There is mosquito netting over the queen-sized beds to keep stray pests at bay.
You can stay in private guestrooms in the resort’s main building, or in one of the resort’s annexes. All of the plantation rooms come with lovely views and private verandas.
While you’re staying at Victoria House you can avail yourself of numerous massage and spa services. You can sign up for a deep tissue massage, a hot stone massage, a seashell massage, or a couple’s massage. Be sure to check out the facial and skin treatments available as well.

Very relaxing place and staff were helpful and accommodating. Casa Azul was the absolute perfect size for our family of 11. Everyone loved the comfy beds.
