This resort is walking distance from the town of San Pedro. You can borrow a golf cart from the resort to explore the town and the surrounding beaches on four wheels. San Pedro has a bountiful selection of beachside bars and grills. While you’re staying on the island of Ambergris Caye, don’t miss opportunities to scuba dive or snorkel near some of Belize’s most interesting natural formations. Visit the Belize Blue Hole to swim in the peaceful waters of a deep, ancient sinkhole, or go snorkeling with the tropical fish at Belize Barrier Reef. When you return to the resort, beach chairs and hammocks with excellent views will allow you to get right back into your relaxation routine. At the resort’s spa you can book a massage on the beach, as well as a facial or a manicure.
At Ramon’s Village Resort guests get to stay in thatched roof cottages, built in a traditional Tahitian style. You’ll get to your accommodations walking on a path through the resort’s tropical gardens of lilies, hibiscus, and palm trees. Guests can choose from accommodations with views of either the ocean or the jungle – all of the cabins have idyllic porches and boutique patio furniture.
Cabins come with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Inside you’ll find a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, along with a coffee maker and complimentary coffee. All of the private bathrooms are stocked with bathroom amenities and a hair dryer. There is a maid and laundry service, as well as convenient room service. When you leave for the day, leave your valuables in your cabin’s safety deposit box. 24-hour security at the resort will make you feel extra confident.
Ramon’s pool is shaped to resemble a lagoon, with lots of greenery surrounding the perimeter. The pool is 80 feet (24 m) long, and at one end you’ll find a bubbling Jacuzzi. Poolside waiters can bring you tropical drinks while you sunbathe.
You can easily keep in touch with the free Wi-Fi and the cottage’s phone. The Wi-Fi is accessible from the guest rooms, the bar, and the pool area. You can also visit the hotel’s business center to use the computer, printer, and fax machine. Ramon’s Village is equipped for meetings and conferences. There is an outdoor meeting table, set up under a palapa – a thatched roof that provides shade.
The on-site restaurant, Pineapples, serves a tropically inspired menu. Right by the pool, you can visit the resort’s open-air bar for a fruity round of cocktails, or whatever other potable floats your boat. You can also stop by the bar to re-energize with healthy smoothie.
