This stop is less known than Mexico Rocks, and is a good place to explore the reef without competing for space with other swimmers.
Mexico Rocks is part of Ambergris Caye’s Hol Chan Marine Reserve. It’s also fairly shallow here, making it easy to get close to schools of tropical fish. Other species to look for include spiny lobster, eels, and nurse sharks.
