Renewable Energy Sources in Vietnam
38 percent of Vietnam’s electricity comes from hydropower with over 300 hydropower plants located across the country. The largest dams are in Son La and Hoa Binh. Only a small percentage of energy comes from other renewable sources such as solar. Vietnam does supposedly plan to expand its use of solar power in the next couple of years.
