IncludedTake an early morning tour of the Chaa Creek Nature Reserve to see the many bird species that make their home here. Your guide will be an experienced bird watcher who can help you spot some of the more elusive birds.
On the tour here, you’ll have the chance to see 308 species of birds on the 400-acre (161-ha) of property. You may get to see keel-billed toucans—males of this species use their enormous, colorful beaks as weapons in duels. The blue crowned mot mot makes a gentle hooting call in the early morning hours. Look for colorful animals like the violaceous trogon and the rufous tailed hummingbird, as well as finches, woodpeckers, and and falcons.
