AvailableJoin us for an unforgettable journey to Yaxhá, where you’ll experience a perfect blend of lush flora, unique wildlife, and ancient archaeology.
Our adventure begins at an ancient astronomical observation point, leading us along the historic "Calzada de las Canteras" to visit the iconic ball court. Keep an eye out for Spider Monkeys swinging from tree to tree and listen for the haunting calls of Howler Monkeys echoing through the jungle.
We’ll visit the main astronomical observatory and explore the North Acropolis, a fascinating ceremonial and administrative complex. From there, follow ancient paths to the Eastern Acropolis, home to the legendary Temple of the Red Hands, also known as Temple 216.
If the weather is on our side, we’ll climb this structure at sunset, taking in the breathtaking views as the sun sets over the jungle and Yaxhá Lagoon. Enjoy the symphony of toucans, orioles, and parrots singing as the day gently fades away.
Get ready for an enchanting exploration of nature, history, and mystery!
