Hotel Biltmore

Guatemala City is a large urban metropolis. The La Aurora International Airport is located here and is the main international airport serving Guatemala. As such, this is where most travelers will enter or depart the country. Many choose to head off quickly to other destinations, but for those that want to idle in the city for a day or so, there are several nice places to visit. These include the historical sights in Centro Histórico, the bars and restaurants in Zona Viva, and the emerging art scene in Cuatro Grados Norte.
The Hotel Biltmore is located in Zona Viva. This is a safe area and the hotel is close to several restaurants and a shopping mall. The airport is a short, 8-minute drive away—guests can get to and from the airport via the hotel’s free airport shuttle.

The accommodations here are clean and nicely appointed. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds and hot water showers. The cable TVs have tons of channels and there is wireless Internet available in all rooms (for an additional fee). All rooms come equipped with air conditioning, a mini bar, coffee maker, telephone, mp3 dock, alarm clock, and desk. The hotel’s suites are larger and include a living room, kitchenette, and microwave.

A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily. The food is delicious and will definitely help travelers start their day in Guatemala City. If you’re feeling like exercising or swimming, you can use the facilities at the Westin Camino Real (for a small fee), which is next door and connected to the Hotel Biltmore. Guests also have easy access to the bars and restaurants of the Westin.

This hotel also has laundry service, luggage storage, and a convenience store. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating.
