Roberts Grove was a lovely hotel. The breakfast was excellent, very tasty. The staff were friendly and the grounds were well maintained and clean. It was nice to have a choice of three pools and we had a lot of fun jumping off the dock in the warm water. It was a bit of a drive into Plancencia but we were happy to rent a golf cart and tour around. The website advertises the use of a sailboat, the mast has been broken for quite some time with no apparent rush to get it fixed. We were disappointed as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel.
This was one of our best accommodations without doubt. We ended up on the top floor with an ocean view. All the staff were very helpful particularly their concierge, Henry.
Very nice place but the staff was very passive, specially after being at San Ignacio Resort. Big contrast. The manager Pauline Arzu was however very helpful. We talked with her the first morning and explained that her staff was not very helpful and that we were disappointed with the breakfast buffet. She allowed us to order breakfast a la cart every morning and the staff improved a lot. The free use of the sailboat is fun but the owners should put some money into kayak and sailboat updates. The free use of bikes is great
