Should I Leave Tips in Cambodia?
Tipping is not traditionally expected in Cambodia, but it is appreciated given the modest local wages. For good service, a small tip is a meaningful gesture that directly benefits service workers.

At restaurants, a tip of 10% or rounding up the bill is generous and appreciated. Many upscale restaurants add a service charge, in which case additional tipping is optional. For hotel staff—housekeeping, bellhops, concierge—$1-2 per service is appropriate.
For guides and drivers, tipping is customary and expected as part of their compensation. For a full-day tour, $5-10 per person for the guide and $3-5 for the driver is standard. For multi-day tours, daily tips or a larger sum at the end of your trip are both acceptable. Your travel materials will include suggested tipping guidelines specific to your itinerary.
