Viñales is a lively but quaint town located in the Viñales Valley, an area of western Cuba. Along the main road are plenty of busy cafés and restaurants, shopping, and farmers’ markets. The valley itself is a spectacular combination of wild plant life, rustic tobacco farms, and coffee plantations. This land is a protected national park, so the natural beauty is unparalleled. Rising just beyond the town are the 160-million-year-old mogotes (lime rock plateaus). Travelers can climb these majestic formations or even tour the mysterious caverns (such as the famous Indian Cave).

Casa Ernesto y La China offers two air-conditioned bedrooms with a TV and a telephone, along with private bathrooms that supply hot and cold water, Guests will have access to common spaces including the spacious living room and the ready-to-use kitchen should they need a midday snack between outings.

This casa boasts one of the most magnificent views of the Viñales valley from the terrace. The inner courtyard just past the front gate is full of exotic plant life and has plenty of shade for relaxing in privacy.

Your hosts live in the house, but you will have complete privacy during your stay. Cuban hosts are very friendly, and also respectful. Prepared meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), laundry service and taxi arrangement and are available to guests at an extra cost.
