Travelers can see historic architecture in the Las Peñas neighborhood and then go for a stroll along the riverside Malecón. If you want to see something truly unique, visit Parque de los Iguanas, which is absolutely crawling with tame iguanas.

We were at the Hilton Colon Guayaquil only for a single night, but it is in a good location with respect to the airport. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and courteous.
