Darwin Bay & Karahua Diving Tour

This diving tour offers a unique opportunity to explore two outstanding dive sites near San Cristóbal Island: Darwin Bay and Karahua. Known for excellent visibility and abundant marine life, this experience combines a relaxed check dive with an exciting second immersion at a historic shipwreck dating back to the early 1900s, now transformed into a thriving artificial reef. The tour departs from the San Cristóbal passenger pier at 09:45 AM, heading first to Las Tijeretas, where divers complete a check dive to ensure comfort and safety underwater.

After the check dive, the boat continues to Darwin Bay, an area rich in marine biodiversity, followed by navigation to Karahua (Caragua) for the second immersion. Here, divers explore the remains of a shipwreck from the early 1900s, now home to a wide variety of marine species.

It is common to encounter sea turtles, rays, sea lions, and large schools of tropical fish, making this tour both visually impressive and historically unique. The return to the San Cristóbal pier is approximately 12:30 PM.
