Entre el 2 de enero y el 30 de abril del 2018, PeruRail operará el Servicio Bimodal (bus + tren), un servicio que combina el viaje en bus y tren, partiendo y regresando desde la Ciudad de Cusco. Los pasajeros que usen el servicio bimodal Expedition (#33) abordarán el bus privado en la Estación de Wanchaq a 5 minutos del centro histórico de Cusco para llegar a la Estación de Ollantaytambo.

Desde aquí, los pasajeros abordarán el tren y se dirigirán a su destino final: la Estación de Machu Picchu. El viaje de regreso será el mismo (Expedición 34).
