As of 2025, all foreign arrivals must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before travel. This free registration replaces the old paper TM6 form and opens three days before your flight. Use only the official government website, as fraudulent sites have been reported charging fees for this free service.
For stays longer than 60 days, you can extend your visa-free entry by 30 additional days at Thai immigration offices. Alternatively, Thailand's e-visa system, available worldwide since January 2025, allows advance visa applications without embassy visits.
You may be asked to show proof of onward travel and sufficient funds (10,000 THB per person or 20,000 THB per family). While these checks are infrequent for premium travelers, having documentation readily available is advisable.
