A Delicious Itinerary
Every adventure has a beginning, and this cooking class is no exception. You can anticipate the following schedule during your foodie excursion:
At 08:15 A.M., you’ll enjoy a beverage at Hai Scout Cafe in Hoi An’s Ancient Town. From here, you’ll explore the main market and will have the opportunity to engage with local sellers as the teach you about the tantalizing ingredients and dishes they are offering.
Board Red Bridge’s boat for a pleasant 25-minute cruise along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School.
Upon arrival, you will be treated to a tour of the school’ls herb and vegetable garden. You will then learn about Hoi An’s, and Vietnam’s as a whole, most popular dishes.
Your cooking lesson lasts for approximately 2-hours, and includes an introduction to the art of Vietnamese food carving for plating/decorative purposes. The school’s chef will demonstrate how to prepare the dish first, then you will recreate the dish yourself. After all of the food is prepared, it’s time to sample your efforts.
Your meal concludes at approximately 13:00 P.M., at which time you will thank and bid farewell to your hosts, then transfer back to Central Hoi An.
