Begin the food tour at your hotel where you will hop in a a three-wheeled taxi called a cyclo. Head over the historical Trang Tien bridge to reach your first foody stop. The Dong Ba market is a classic Vietnamese produce market full of local ingredients and delicacies.
After the market you will continue through Hue’s busy streets, passing the magnificent Royal Palace, on your way to some of Hue’s most famous restaurants. You’ll be eating where the locals eat, trying a number of specialities from the region.
A beef noodle soup called bun bo hue is probably the most well-known dish you will try. You’ll also munch on delectable snacks like banh khoai, banh beo, and banh nam. This tour will teach you the names and flavors of the best Vietnamese dishes so that you have the confidence to try them on your own later!
The tour ends at the Hue night market where you can do a little shopping and then take a stroll back to your hotel.
