Begin the food tour at your hotel where you will hop in a a three-wheeled taxi called a cyclo. Head over the historical Trang Tien bridge to reach your first foody stop. The Dong Ba market is a classic Vietnamese produce market full of local ingredients and delicacies. After the market you will continue through Hue’s busy streets, passing the magnificent Royal Palace, on your way to some of Hue’s most famous restaurants. You’ll be eating where the locals eat, trying a number of specialities from the region. A beef noodle soup called bun bo hue is probably the most well-known dish you will try. You’ll also munch on delectable snacks like banh khoai, banh beo, and banh nam. This tour will teach you the names and flavors of the best Vietnamese dishes so that you have the confidence to try them on your own later! The tour ends at the Hue night market where you can do a little shopping and then take a stroll back to your hotel.

Check your bike, warm up and let join the trip with us. 8h45: Start biking to Thanh Toan Village where the famous “Thanh Toan Tiled Roof Bridge” is located. On the way, you can’t help surprising to catch the images of the bustling morning local market, the green rice fields, majestic family temples as well as the daily life of local people crossing the zigzag path of the village. 10h00: Arrive at Thanh Toan Tile roof Bridge – a truly unique ancient bridge in Vietnam, and visit Thanh Toan Museum with a wide variety of agricultural tools exhibited to explain the details of Vietnamese life and culture. 10h30: Row the boat with the villager on Nhu Y River to enjoy spectacular sceneries and explore how they catch the fish by using some old tools such as fishing trap, casting net, etc. After observing, you can join hand with them to catch your own fish. Get back to our “Eco Home” where you can see around the vegetable garden with many kinds grown by local farmer such as: Malabar spinach, gourd, fiber melon, winter melon, fig… 12h00: Join cooking class to learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Hue specialties (3 dishes).
