The picturesque cycling route is highlighted with rice fields, local gardens and markets. Stop as often as you wish for taking photographs or some easy chat with locals . There is also time to pay a visit to a local family who are still practicing the craft of weaving sedge mattresses using traditional techniques.
After around 1.5 hour cycling it is time to hop into a kayak for some time on the river. You will paddle towards Cam Thanh cocopalm forest. The area is a unique mangrove ecosystem to Hoi An and the scenery is spectacular.

Met by your English speaking guide at your hotel in Hoi An at 8am for your cycle and kayak tour. After a brief introduction and biking guidance, you will begin your cycling to Hoi An’s countryside. You will get a chance to visit a variety of villages – from wood carving, sedge mat making, fish sauce making, to bamboo making villages, partake in some local activities and observe our community at play. We will cycle across scenic rice paddy fields and lovely rivers. We will keep at a nice and easy pace, taking in the scenery and local hospitality.
After lunch with a local family, you will kayak around the palm islands to the old town and learn more about Hoi An’s countryside life . Enjoy some light refreshments before returning to your hotel.
