This hotel is named for La Laguna de Las Ninfas, the “Lake of Nymphs,” located a short distance from the hotel. It’s easy to imagine a supernatural creature in the colorful terrain that surrounds the hotel – a landscape full of exotic flowers and animals you won’t find anywhere else.
Hotel Ninfa is situated right between the island’s two main attractions, Tortuga Bay and the Charles Darwin Research Station. Tortuga Bay is known for its white sand and calm waters. This is a great place to try some snorkeling, an activity you’ll definitely want to try while you’re in the Galápagos. The Charles Darwin Research Station is one of the best places to see some of work being done to preserve the islands’ giant tortoises. This hotel is also located near the Santa Cruz’s main port, so you can easily board a boat to take you to see the other islands. When you’re ready to see Puerto Ayora’s restaurants and shops, borrow one of the bikes the hotel provides to guests.
Each of the rooms has a private bathroom with hot water. Rooms are also equipped with air conditioning. You can stay refreshed with the room’s coffee-making station, and all rooms feature a television and a minibar. Guests can have a meal or simply lounge by the hotel’s sizable outdoor swimming pool.
The grounds of the hotel have been cultivated with local plants, making this a lovely place to spend your free time. You can socialize on the outdoor patios, as well as in the calm, cool oasis of the hotel bar and lounge. There is 24-hour reception for your convenience.
You can quickly walk to some of Puerto Ayora’s most popular restaurants and boutiques from your hotel. In addition, the Hotel Ninfa also provides its own restaurant. Guests can access the Wi-Fi in public areas, and there are laundry facilities for guests to use.

Feedback from Travelers
What a lovely place! We couldn’t have asked for more. Great location, clean, good restaurant, hospitable staff
The facility was ideal with a great location near the grocery store, restaurants, docks, etc. The only disappointment here was that over the weekend, the front desk staff spoke little to no English. During the work week, they were much easier to communicate with. The breakfast was excellent.
