El Cerro de La Cruz ("The Cross Hill") is a small hill above the town of San Juan La Laguna. The hill has awesome views of both the lake and town.

The tour begins in San Juan La Laguna, where you'll walk past the medicinal plants association and a textiles crafting center. As you make your way towards the hill, you'll gradually gain elevation and begin to enjoy views of the surrounding landscape.

The hike up El Cerro de La Cruz takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once here, you'll take a rest and enjoy a well-rewarded view of San Juan La Laguna and
Lake Atitlán. The lake is especially beautiful from this place.
