Sí hay un impuesto de salida para los vuelos que parten de Ecuador. La tarifa dependerá de si sale de Quito o Guayaqyuil, pero normalmente el costo oscila entre $25-40. Sin embargo, este imupuesto usualmente se incluye en la tarifa de su vuelo. Adicionalmente, los restaurantes, tiendas, y hoteles agregarán un impuesto agregado (IVA) de 12 porciento a su factura. El impuesto debe encontrarse explícito y por separado en la factura.
