AvailableDiscover the rainforest surrounding the Arenal Volcano from an unrivaled perspective on the Arenal Hanging Bridges tour.
A professional naturalist will be able to tell you the names of the plants and animals that make their home near the base of the Arenal Volcano. This version of the tour typically takes a little longer since you’ll want to stop and observe some of the plants and animals. There are over 350 species of bird over 700 species of plants, so you’ll see something new no matter where you look. Along the trail you’ll take in expansive views from 6 hanging bridges.
There are a couple of optional stops on your tour. You can visit the Rufous Garden to see exotic flowers and hummingbirds. There’s also the Morpho Waterfall, named after the bright blue butterfly that flits around this part of Costa Rica.

1. Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required for this activity for safety, entrance will be denied if wearing sandals or shoes that don't fully cover the foot. 2. Children under 10 years old are not allowed in this activity. 3. Teens Must have Student I.D. (rate applies from 11 to 17 years old) 4. Water entry allowed only in reusable bottles. Single-use plastic bottles will not be permitted. 5. Bag restriction.
