A safe haven for a variety of endangered species, Manuel Antonio National Park is 1,700 acres (683 hectares) of natural beauty – and that’s just on land! Off the beaches, there’s an additional 136,000 acres of protected ocean (55,000 marine hectares). The park is a favorite of birds, coatimundis, monkeys, reptiles, sloths, and more.

Your guided hike will show you a little bit of everything the park has to offer. You’ll spend most of your time exploring the forest as you search for animals and observe a stunning amount of plants. A 20-minute break at the beach lets you enjoy the sound of the ocean, the salty sea air, and maybe even a chance to peek into tide pools.

One very special feature of this tour is the Pentax and Swarovski telescopes they guides have. They can show you how to use these to zoom in on animals and the photos you take.
