Playa Pelada is the closest beach to the lodge. It has white sand and a friendly local bar. Drive about 15 minutes south the lodge to try a surfing lesson or two at Playa Guiones, and find even more adventure at the nearby canopy rope course. It’s also easy to get from the lodge to Playa Nosara. And of course, you can go for hikes and sunset strolls through the lodge’s private reserve. Lagarta Lodge has everything you need to totally unwind. There is space for yoga, massage, and skin treatments. From the bluff, you’ll have an incredible view of the surroundings and sunsets. The infinity pools and the Jacuzzi also have a premier view of the surroundings.

This lodge offers event spaces — both air conditioned and in the open air. In the dining room, you’ll find dishes prepared with locally harvested produce. These prepare upscale meals with Instagram-worthy presentations. Visit the lounge for a cocktail, and pair your meal with a vintage from the wine cellar.
