Hotel Mundo Milo Lodge

Playa Junquillal is home to one of the friendliest resorts in Costa Rica. Hotel Mundo Milo invites you to become a part of Junquillal during your stay. Junquilla is a small village with a strong community. Native Costa Ricans, travelers and immigrants have all adopted Junquilla as their home and their neighbors as family. Junquilla is known for its beach that boasts a returning colony of sea turtles who lay their eggs on this almost deserted beach every year. Take a night walk and you are almost guaranteed to see one.

The mangrove forest opposite the beach is home to a few naughty monkeys and exotic birds. Even crocodiles can be seen on the river banks. The resort itself has five cabins decorated in different ethnic styles; the African cabin, the Mexican cabin and the Persian cabin. You have the choice between one or two queen size bed and each Cabana comes with air conditioning, refrigerator and private hot water bathroom. Breakfast is included.

During your stay Hotel Mundo Milo offers a variety of activities to fill your day. Your basic Snorkeling, hiking and kayaking are offered. But Hotel Mundo Milo’s specialty tours are the real treat. Swim with turtles or go on coffee tour. For those adventurous adventurous travelers try cave descending or a visit to the active volcanos in the National Parks.
