This tour follows a fairly advanced route that courses through class III and class IV sections of the river. There are around 70 rapids on this incredible, 12-mile (19-km) course. Some of the animals you’re likely to see on this trip include spider monkeys, howler monkeys, hawks, and egrets. Your guides will make sure you’re comfortable with the equipment before setting off, as well as provide important safety equipment. Because it’s a wild ride, you’ll want to make sure you have things like croakies for your glasses and clothes you don’t mind getting wet, as well as a change of clothes.

What to Bring

Rubber-soled water shoes or strap-on sandals, t-shirt and waterproof shorts, bathing suit, change of clothes (including a change of shoes), towel, croakies or a strap for your glasses, and waterproof sunscreen.

What's included

Lunch, fruit snack, equipment, and guide.
