Sportfishing Tour - 38' Topaz "Talking Fish" - Half Day

Take a Tamarindo Sportfishing tour for big game fishing with the area’s most experienced captains on top quality sea crafts. Tamarindo, situated in the Guanacaste region, is Costa Rica’s closest point to the continental shelf, so your trip is spent catching fish instead of searching for them.

The Talking Fish is a 38’ Topaz Express with a seven- person limit. Powered by twin 480 hp Detroit turbo diesels, and has a spacious cockpit with fighting chair, covered seating area for up to seven persons, and full cabin with private marine head.

The boat is outfitted for professional fishing and is a perfect match for two or three couples or mixed group

All of the boats come with comfortable seating in shaded areas and all of the equipment and technology needed to catch large Pacific fish.

With year round fishing in Costa Rica, you will have the chance to catch sailfish, three species of marlin, yellowfin tuna, dorado, wahoo, roosterfish, snapper, and grouper. Full days are recommended for offshore bill fishing.

Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen, lightweight long sleeve shirts and pants, a light rain jacket or poncho may come in handy in the rainy season and camera

Beers, soft drinks, bottled water, bait, ice, all tackle, life jackets, snacks and fruits.

If you are staying at Tamarindo, the meeting point will be on the beach in front of Chiringuito Restaurant. The tour operator requires the name of each participant and their passport number in order to make a reservation. Fishing Licenses are required to operate this tour.
