We loved Costa Rica! Before we even left, we were deciding on our next trip back. We can't wait. Everyone was so nice and proud of their country, which made the visit great!
A warm welcome by Costa Rica…
We arrived at Costa Rica to a warm welcome. The driver at the airport was not only on time, but I believe early, ready for us with a sign. Helped us get packed up, and we even stopped for breakfast along the way. He was great! The rafting experience on the Balsa River was very fun! We even hung out with our river rafting tour group (both attendees and staff) later on in the night.
This is the most memorable vacation because…
We absolutely loved Los Lagos hotel! The bathroom was spacious and we were right across the sports bar. Loved all the amenities like the free daily breakfast, and pools/hot springs. Even better is that I got proposed to at this hotel, and my fiance says the hotel event coordinator was so great to work with. She set up a perfect proposal site for us!

Katia was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful, responsive, and professional in our conversations throughout the booking process. I had a lot of questions along the way, and she was so helpful and patient with me. She suggested taking a plane from Arenal to Manuel Antiono to save time. Turns out, the flight was easy, and the airport was nice and clean. The plane was very small, so I was hesitant in the beginning, but I felt safe and it was not very shaky. Everyone we met in Costa Rica was so nice and proud of their country, which made the visit great!
