The pools here are filled with fresh rain water heated by the local Arenal Volcano. It takes about 10 minutes to get from the spa to the town of La Fortuna, which is a busy hub for travelers. Here you can choose from lots of bars and restaurants that cater to visitors, as well as small restaurants called sodas that serve classic Costa Rican options. In the opposite direction, you can visit the Arenal Volcano National Park. Right outside of the park you can visit the La Fortuna waterfall, and then hike to see the hardened lava flows around the outskirts of the Arenal Volcano.
Choose from a long menu of treatments — a variety of massages, facials, and specialty treatments. You can order a drink and a snack from the bar next to the springs. Dinner is served at the expansive buffet, which has lots of healthy, fresh options as well as comfort food.
Air-conditioned rooms are comfortable and clean with sturdy, dark wood furniture. All of the rooms come with daily housekeeping and most of the rooms come with safety deposit box. Store your belongings in the spacious wardrobe. The marble bathrooms come equipped with a hair dryer.
Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and throughout the grounds. You can unwind in your room in the glow of the flat screen TV. The rooms have minibars, refrigerators, and coffee makers.
Staff was very accommodating. Grounds were beautiful
6 different pools with different temperatures in each of them!
This hotel didn't look like much when we pulled in but turned out to be the best among the three we have stayed at. This is the minimum standard we were looking for and perhaps we had miscommunications when it came to what we wanted (I did menion a few times that we are picky). The staff were the nicest, the grounds though small were impeccable, the hot springs were great, the breakfast was fabulous, the rooms were great. The only suggestion I would have is to perhaps provide a shuttle to La Fortune if folks want to walk around, shop or grab dinner.
