Discover the sights and sounds in the Arenal Volcano area. Here you can take a guided tour to get a first-hand experience of Costa Rica's most famed attraction.

This adventure takes place on the trails of the Arenal Volcano National Park.
Informative tour guides will lead you on along a 3-mile (5-km) trail that winds through secondary rain forest and leads to places to observe the volcano. Along the way you'll observe a variety of plants, animals, and volcanic rock formations; you'll also enjoy views of Lake Arenal.

During this guided walk, you'll walk across three trails - Las Coladas, El Ceibo, and Lava 1992. Appropriately, you'll see old lava flows and massive Ceibo trees. From viewing monkeys and toucans to photographing the picture-perfect volcano, you will be fully engaged as you enjoy your visit in the Arenal Volcano area.

Costa Rica has really got itself well organised for tourism, the service was spot on, the travel timing accurate ( although some of the roads were really poor, pot holed). Hotels and activities are really geared for tourists and they made us feel welcome.
