IncludedVenture into the wild heart of Corcovado National Park with our Sirena Deep Exploration tour! This two-day, one-night adventure maximizes your time at the renowned Sirena Biological Station—one of the best wildlife-viewing destinations in Costa Rica—while keeping hiking effort to a minimum. It’s an excellent option for families with children, senior nature enthusiasts, and photographers or wildlife experts who prefer shorter, more focused walks.
Day 1: Depart early in the morning from Drake Bay or Puerto Jiménez and enjoy a spectacular 1.5-hour boat ride along pristine coastal ecosystems and scenic shoreline vistas. Upon arrival at the heart of Corcovado, you’ll spend the day hiking 6–10 km along the surrounding trail system, guided by our certified naturalists. Learn about the region’s extraordinary wildlife, rainforest dynamics, and the unique ecosystems that make Sirena so exceptional.
Day 2: We begin at dawn with a short hike to the Sirena River (timing may vary depending on tides), searching for tapirs returning to their mud pools as the golden morning light creates ideal photographic conditions. After breakfast, continue exploring the surrounding ancient forests, covering an additional 7–9 km depending on wildlife sightings and group preferences. Around midday, you’ll board the boat back toward Drake Bay or Puerto Jiménez.
