Diriá Coffee Tour

This tour is designed to show you the complete coffee process — from sowing the seeds to the moment the coffee is poured into your cup. The Diría Coffee Tour takes place on the Matambú Reserve, and the tour helps support indigenous Costa Ricans.

Your tour begins with a visit to a Chorotega-style home, and you’ll learn about their pre-Columbian traditions. Then, you’ll get to see what coffee looks like when it’s ready for harvest, and your guide will give you an in-depth overview of coffee horticulture. You’ll follow your guide through the subsequent drying, roasting, and packaging steps.
