Ceiba Rappel

The ceiba tree’s imposing height has inspired an elaborate mythology, and they figured prominently in the Maya religion. For this tour you will ascend 140 feet (42 m) up the ceiba tree's trunk, and then rappel to the bottom.

Jaco Ropes course has experienced professionals on staff to make sure you can safely use your equipment. Feel free to ask all the questions you need in order to feel comfortable before you embark on your ascent.

You will climb up a ladder attached to the tree trunk. On your climb you can admire the surrounding wildlife, and if you’re luck you’ll get to see a few monkeys and tropical birds on your way down. Once you reach the top you can rappel down the side at your own pace. This is an exhilarating rush and there is enough time for you to do the climb twice with a break in between.
