From Hotel Trópico Latino you can walk a short distance to 4 acres (1.6 ha) of beach. You can see more of the Nicoya’s Peninsula’s beaches at Cabo Blanco National Park, which is a 23-minute drive from the hotel. On hikes through the park you can see large swaths of secondary forest — the result of an extensive reforestation project.
