Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is a bird watcher’s dream, with over 350 avian species. Take a tour of the hanging bridges for an incredible view of the misty cloud forests. In addition to the cloud forest reserves, there are several species exhibits in Santa Elena. Check out bats, frogs, and a butterfly garden. When you’re feeling peckish, visit the Monteverde Cheese Factory where local Quakers sell homemade cheese and ice cream.

Jose is the absolute best! His restaurant staff was also great and welcoming and it’s definitely the best hotel in the area. Jose helped with anything and everything we needed so definitely take your business there. He will take care of you better than anyone!
