It was amazing to be connected to the locals and experience so much nature, culture, beauty, comfort, joy, and hospitality in such a short time. Our whole family truly believe Costa Rica is Heaven on Earth and can’t wait to go back.
The best place to have a family vacation
My mother joined our family on this memorable family trip to Costa Rica, which I think is simply Heaven on Earth. We were so happy to have had a reliable car to cover so much mileage in 8-days, and get to experience so many different climates and scenery in just a short time. The *whole family* enjoyed the hot spring experience at Tabacon, especially after a full day of activities.
The absolutely precious memories from this trip we’ll always remember…
At Arenal, we took a safari float tour down Penas Blancas River. Siviany (Sivi) was our awesome leader, he was very professional, knowledgeable, patient, and created an experience that was very personal, fun, and comfortable. After the float, we got to experience tortilla making at a local village. It was such a novel experience. Mara, our host in the village, was the sweetest. Her house and her beautiful kitchen were amazing, and the tortillas made with the “secret ingredient” were the most delicious tortillas we had ever tasted. The coffee, the conversation with Mara, Sivi, and our driver, the music during the drive, *all* contributed to an absolutely pleasant local experience. We were very thankful to have had this day on our trip.
A new friendship formed in the heart of Monteverde…
Hotel Tropico Monteverde is an exceptional, beautiful, and fabulous place. We felt so comfortable and happy there as the rooms were fantastic, and we could not say enough about our host Jose Badilla Villalobos. He has created a paradise and his people skills are absolutely excellent — very professional man with a heart of gold. We cannot be more thankful to Team Anywhere for initiating this friendship and creating the highlight of our time at Hotel Tropico Monteverde. Anywhere.com is the company we will book our trips with again and again.
