Shawandha Lodge

Shawandha Lodge is located on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, in the town of Puerto Viejo. The southern Caribbean coast masterfully blends wilderness and beautiful coastline. Visit the Cahuita National Park to further observe the unique biodiversity or glide over the coral reefs in a glass bottom boat. Take a closer look at the array of underwater species on a scuba diving excursion or snorkeling adventure. Other activities include river or sea kayaking, visiting butterfly farms, iguana farms, botanical gardens, bird watching and visiting the local Indian reservations.

The Lodge features spacious bungalows, constructed in neo-primitive style with an artistic mixture of wood, ceramics and palm roofs. Each of the bungalows has its own individual character with handcrafted furniture, a private bathroom and a fan. Rooms also have a terrace with a sofa and hammock.
